Ventoplex classifier C

Alpine Ventoplex C – wind sifter

Dry processing – coarse / fine sifting + sieving

Unlike the previous Alpine Ventoplex B version with a central drive, the new C version has a separately driven classifying wheel. Fan and classifier wheel are arranged coaxially and are driven by two separate shafts in the new version.

The Alpine Ventoplex Classifier C is a circulating air classifier for high throughputs with low energy consumption for a fineness range of d97 = 24 µm – 200 µm

  • Large amount of subtlety
  • Easiest setting of the subtleties
  • High fines throughput
  • Insensitive to overload
  • Low specific energy requirement
  • Low peripheral speed
  • Low circulating air speed
  • Low overall height
  • Low-wear construction
  • Good accessibility for inspection, use of inexpensive wearing parts and therefore low maintenance costs

possible applications

  • For classifying industrial minerals: Limestone, burnt lime, fertilizer lime, bentonite, dolomite, gypsum, ores, phosphate, etc.
  • For sifting abrasive products up to Mohs hardness 7 – 8: glass powder, abrasives, etc.
  • For sifting ceramic flours to be produced without iron abrasion: fireclay, quartz, feldspar, pegmatite, raw kaolin, etc.
  • For viewing ingredients for food and feed: starch, soy, rock salt, feed lime, rice meal, bone meal, etc.
  • For classifying basic chemical substances: ammonium sulphate, silicic acid, soda, citric acid, etc.
  • For dust removal from Griesen
  • For use in grinding classifying circuits
  • For operation in combination with an additional fine classifier

finishes

Up to size C25V, the material is fed in centrally via a hollow shaft. From size C28V upwards, the material is fed in either via a screw conveyor or an air conveyor chute.

Variable wear protection concept

Rotor blades and heavily stressed housing parts are protected against wear, for example with ceramics or special steel. Other parts of the case are coated with stainless steel.

Maintenance-friendly design

Rotor and housing parts are easily accessible and can therefore be cleaned and inspected quickly and easily. The patented classifying wheel allows individual classifying wheel vanes to be exchanged. If necessary, the rotor can also be completely replaced.
