Turboplex Fine Classifier

Alpine Turboplex ATP – fine classifier

The sifting air flows through the sifting wheel from the outside in and discharges the fines, while the coarse material is rejected by the sifting wheel and discharged at the coarse material discharge.

The product is fed in either laterally under exclusion of air via a cellular wheel sluice or, in the design as a flow classifier, directly in the classifying air flow. The fineness is set via the classifier wheel speed.

All ATP single-wheel and multi-wheel classifiers can be delivered without pressure for system pressure.

With the exception of sizes 750 ATP and 1000 ATP, the classifiers can be designed to be explosion-proof up to 10 bar (overpressure) on request.

  • One-wheel or multi-wheel sifter for fine sifting
  • Sharp upper particle limit
  • Easy gap adjustment
  • Narrow flushing gap possible
  • little need for space
  • No vibrations
  • Long lifetime

possible applications

  • Due to the horizontal arrangement of the sifting wheel, even “difficult” products can be processed without any problems.
  • When processing extremely abrasive materials, increased abrasion is prevented by a wear-resistant lining.
  • Superfine powder in the fineness range from d97 = 3 – 45 μm, in the NG version finenesses down to d97 = 2 μm (d50 = 0.5 μm) can be achieved.
  • Build-up is prevented, e.g. B. sighting of CaCO 3.
  • The ATP is made of stainless steel for use in the pharmaceutical industry.
