Alpine Micron MS – Air Classifier
The feed material enters the classifier directly with the main air flow. This means that the classifier offers economic advantages when it is integrated into a system with pneumatic direct feeding. The classifying wheel is driven by a belt drive and a three-phase asynchronous motor. The speed of the sifting wheel is steplessly adjustable via a frequency converter. By changing the classifying wheel speed, the particle size can also be easily adjusted during operation.

Talc, calcium carbonate, bentonite, kaolin, clay, dolomite, quartz, kieselguhr, pigments, fine chemicals and much more.
The classifier can be provided with wear protection if required.
For applications in the food or pharmaceuticals sector, the classifier is made of stainless steel.
Also available as a sifting head for a vertical roller mill or for circulatory operation with a ball mill .
