Hosokawa downdraft exhaust cabin
Ideal for working with vapor or solvent containing materials, or when highly toxic materials require one-way ventilation technology. The downdraft exhaust air cabin works in a similar way to the recirculation cabin with a vertical air flow. The difference is that the exhaust air is not circulated but is 100% discharged. The vertically descending air pushes dust or gases down, ensuring operators breathe clean air and an extremely high level of containment is achieved.
The exhaust cabin uses special supply and exhaust fans, which are usually equipped with inlet and outlet filters of HEPA standard (99.99% filter efficiency.)

Our downdraft cabins are characterized by flush-fitting surfaces with no gaps that are susceptible to dirt. They are also available in different sizes and shapes for every application. The cabin interior dimensions range from 1.5 to 12 m wide and 2 to 9 m high.
