Alpine multi-process plants

The task of laboratories or development centers is mostly to produce small product samples for testing and to define an industrial manufacturing process. The laboratory systems used for this must be able to reproduce the process and scale up to a later production system. With a view to constantly developing new products whose grinding properties cannot be predicted, the greatest possible flexibility is required.

So-called multi-process systems have proven to be versatile talents for these tasks. After a few minutes of conversion time, the following components can be replaced here:

4 procedural processes:

  • Counter jet milling with a 100 AFG for materials up to Mohs hardness 10 and fineness from 2 µm to 40 µm
  • Impact grinding with a 50 ZPS for materials up to a Mohs hardness of 3.5 and finenesses in the range from 8 µm to 120 µm
  • Fine classification with a 50 ATP, separation range from 2 µm to 120 µm
  • Extremely fine shredding with a 100 AS in the finest range from 5 µm to 30 µm

features

  • Materials: in contact with the product 316 L
  • Surface quality Ra = 0.4 to 0.8 µm
  • System components: completely stainless steel
  • Frame, table: stainless steel
  • All separation points are designed with clamp connections
  • FDA compliant seals (silicone or EPDM)
  • Execution of the drives and electrics according to customer requirements

possible applications

  • Pharma version / GMP design: The smooth, dead space-free overall structure simplifies thorough emptying, cleaning and sterilization of the system. The system can be dismantled. All parts that come into contact with the product can be sterilized in an autoclave, alternatively a SIP version is also possible.
  • Standard: In order to ensure maximum chemical resistance and corrosion resistance, all product-touching surfaces on Alpine multi-process systems are made of rust- and acid-resistant stainless steel as standard.
