Classifier mill ZPS
Alpine Zirkoplex ZPS – classifier mill
The comminution tools consist of an impact hammer mechanism and a stationary impact surface grinding track that surrounds the grinding chamber.
The impact hammer mechanism was designed in such a way that very gentle and energy-saving shredding is achieved. The bouncers themselves are interchangeable. The grinding track is designed in segments. A Turboplex fine classifier with one or more horizontal classifier wheels is integrated in the upper part of the mill.
- Classifier mill for high fineness, cool grinding and flexible production parameters in the fineness range from less than 5 µm to 200 µm
- Impact beater mill with Turboplex classifier integrated in the upper part for exact grain limitation
- welded construction
- Grinding tools made of special steel
Characteristics
- Optimal accessibility
- Easy cleaning; advantageous for frequent product changes
- Consistently executed for sticky products
- Special fluidization devices at critical points
- Smooth and gentle processing of pigments, waxes, resins, powder coatings, etc……
- Cool grinding thanks to high air throughput
- Excellent selectivity, steep particle size distribution
- Stable visual behavior, once the visual fineness has been set, it remains constant
Possible Applications
Zirkoplex classifier mills can be used universally for materials with a Mohs hardness of up to approx. 3 if there are requirements for very high final fineness with the lowest possible energy consumption.
Smooth and gentle processing of pigments, waxes, resins, powder coatings, etc.
