Classifier mill ACM

The ground material is pneumatically fed to the micro ACM. The comminution takes place through the impact of the material to be ground on the rotating grinding tools and on the stationary impact chuck. Finenesses of d 97 =10 µm are achieved with impact edge speeds of up to 140 m/s. The cooling, transport and sifting air sucked through the mill by the downstream fan collects the material to be ground and guides it along the guide vanes of the guide wheel.

Finishes

Four different versions and a laboratory variant were developed for the ACM in order to flexibly meet the different customer requirements.

  • ACM CX – with coaxial arrangement of the sifter and grinding disc drive shafts, which enables vertical product discharge and prevents product caking.
  • ACM CL – with a direct classifier drive for all applications where a horizontal outlet of the product line with the shortest possible connection to the downstream plant components is desired.
  • ACM EC (Easy Clean) – was developed to meet the demands for minimal cleaning times. This is required above all in industrial areas where there are frequent product changes or where batch production is carried out.
  • ACM EC-CL – combines the advantages of the CL model – compact layout with short connections to the downstream machines – and the EC model with the main focus on short cleaning times.
  • ACM 2 and 5 – for laboratory and small batch production . With the newly developed Easy-Clean concept, the Mikro ACM 2/5 EC offers a high degree of user-friendliness and a minimum of cleaning effort when changing products. A footprint of 15 m² and only a socket and a compressed air connection are required for the compact system.
