Vrieco-Nauta® conical screw dryer
The required thermal energy is introduced into the product through a heated jacket on the container wall. The high mixing capacity of the conical vacuum dryer ensures rapid transfer of heat from the jacket to the product to be dried.
The jacket can be heated using steam, oil, water, etc.
Typical applications
Although Hosokawa Screw Dryers were originally developed for drying solid-based materials, they also achieve excellent results in many other applications where heat treatment or vacuum treatment of solids is required, e.g
