sieve mill

sieve mill

Fine – but not too fine

With the sieve mill, brittle, easily breakable materials are gently crushed.

Sieve mills are also called sieve granulators, sieve graters, sieve crushers or strainers.

The material to be shredded is rubbed through a sieve with the horizontal rotor. The shredding movement of the rotor can be either oscillating or rotating.

The peripheral speed is typically 1 m/s. For this reason, the sieve mill is often used in hazardous dust areas.
