Scab strips are made into pieces with a pre-crusher.
The crushing takes place with counter-rotating crushing rollers, which are equipped either with pins or discs.
The pre-crushed material has improved flow properties. Bridging in the inlet area of hammer mills during subsequent granulation is avoided.
